Hat sizes

Knitpicks has a handy hat size chart. Infant hats should fit a head with 14" circumference, and be 6" tall. If your CKM cranks out a different size, do not despair! the chart ranges from a 9" circumference, 3.5" high one for a 1-2 lb. preemie all the way up to 24 x 11.5" for an adult male.

Your finished, unstretched pieces should have at least two inches of "negative ease." This stretch will keep it in place on the head.
