Addi Pro Sock video options.

The Addi Pro holds 22 needles and machine knits two strands of DK (#3) yarn, worsted weight (#4) and even light-bulky (#5) yarns into lovely tubes lickety split. These tubes have a lot of potential as socks. The machine is particularly suited to make women and children's house socks from these bulky yarns as the 22-stitch tubes are generally just over 6" around. If they are converted (by hand) to 1x1 rib, the tube shrinks to just under 5" around. If one wishes to make house socks for large feet, the next size up is the Sentro 40 Needle machine , but let's look at the technique possibilities on the 22 needle beauty for now.

Hat sizes

Knitpicks has a handy hat size chart. Infant hats should fit a head with 14" circumference, and be 6" tall. If your CKM cranks out a different size, do not despair! the chart ranges from a 9" circumference, 3.5" high one for a 1-2 lb. preemie all the way up to 24 x 11.5" for an adult male. https://tutorials.knitpicks.com/hat-size-charts/ Your finished, unstretched pieces should have at least two inches of "negative ease." This stretch will keep it in place on the head.
